The importance of foundation treatment and pile foundation selection is discussed. Several common ground treatment methods and the advantages and disadvantages of pile foundation types are analyzed. The principles of foundation treatment selection and pile foundation selection are put forward, which provide the basis for construction design of civil engineering reference.
