数学课程标准指出:数学内容要有利于学生主动地进行观察、实验、猜测、验证、推理与交流等数学活动,有效的数学学习活动不能单纯地依赖模仿和记忆,动手实践、自主探索与合作交流是学生学习数学的重要方式。数学实验是当前数学课堂教学中新兴的教学方式。它是让学生根据预定的实验方案,自己动手操作,进行探究、发现、思考、分析、归纳等思维活动,最后理解概念,掌握解决问题策略的一种教学方式。
