The historic leap forward in the economic and social development of the poor and backward Guizhou ethnic areas is an important theoretical and practical issue. This article starts from the basic connotation of historic leapfrogging, and probes into the feasibility of realizing historical leaping in Guizhou ethnic minority areas and the ways of realizing historic leaps.
