在传统的耕作中,必须考虑如何保持水分。沙覆盖法就是当地一种行之有效的保持水分的措施。在西班牙卡纳瑞岛气候干旱区,通过田间试验和实验室分析,结果显示:在沙覆盖的土地上,由于蒸发而导致的土壤水分含量的缺失比没有沙覆盖的土地降低76%,土壤的含水率前者也较高(两者比值为1.6:1)。这项研究证明了沙覆盖可以起到保持水土的作用。因此,在干燥的气候区,沙覆盖有助于降低土壤中水分的蒸发量,这种操作方式可使不可能实现的旱作逐步成为现实。这种系统的优化还需要就不同粒径的沙子和覆盖厚度及其他颗粒等作为覆盖物方面做更深入的研究。研究结果表明:在有覆盖物的土壤上种植作物可能无需灌溉。此项研究技术,可在我国旱作农业区推广应用。
In traditional farming, we must consider how to maintain moisture. Sand cover method is an effective local water conservation measures. In arid regions of Canary Island, Spain, field tests and laboratory analyzes showed that the loss of soil moisture due to evaporation was 76% less than that of sandy land, The former moisture content is also higher (the ratio of the two is 1.6: 1). This study shows that sand cover can play a role in maintaining soil and water. Therefore, in dry climates, sand cover helps to reduce the amount of water in the soil that evaporates, an operation that will make it impossible to achieve arid conditions. The optimization of this system also needs to do a more in-depth study on the covering of sand with different particle sizes, covering thickness and other particles. The results show that planting crops in covered soils may not require irrigation. This research technique can be popularized and applied in dry farming areas in our country.
