北京国际电子音乐节经过十多年的发展,目前已经发展成为一个具有影响力的专业电子音乐活动和与国际电子音乐前沿紧密接轨的音乐文化品牌。其整体发展历史与现状,展现出中国电子音乐的发展特征、成果与趋势。该活动具备了连续性与继承性、指向性与针对性、创新性与兼容性三个特点,形成了自主、创新式的“中国模式”和发展理念,与中国电子音乐学科建设紧密相连,大力开展各项活动实现其教学价值,对中国电子音乐进行学术引领与理念创新。其价值和贡献在于:推动本土化电子音乐发展、弘扬世界电子音乐文化和促进国际电子音乐整体发展。
