The author argues that China’s open economy will have the following features:the percentage of China’s commodity exports to the world total will continue to increase,possibly reaching around 15％ by the end of the 12th Five-year Period (2011-2015),and around 20％ by the end of the 13th Five-year Period (2015-2020) or during the 14th Five-year Period (2020-2025);commodity imports and the service trade will continue to expand,with measures to stimulate import volume and optimize the import structure,priorizing service imports;Chinese enterprises will go global by investing more on production-related entity projects and attracting more foreign investment with improved business quality;with its traditional intational competence of profound land and labor resources,China will cultivate its new intational competence.
