By 5Cr4W5Mo2V hot extrusion punch thermal fatigue failure forms and causes of the study to explore ways to improve the thermal fatigue properties of the mold and methods. Production applications show that: the surface hardening can effectively improve the hot extrusion die thermal fatigue properties.
