Objective To observe the changes of auricular microvessel reactivity in renovascular hypertensive rats (RHR) and the effect of enalapril. Methods The contraction and relaxation of capillaries were induced by hot and cold stimulation. The vasomotion and microvascular compliance were evaluated by the changes of blood flow velocity and time. The results of RHR blood pressure at the same time, microvascular reactivity was significantly reduced thermal stimulation, reactivity to cold stimulation increased to remove the maximum blood flow after stimulation returned to normal time delay, with serum angiotensin converting enzyme ( ACE) activity and nitrate / nitrite (NO) levels decreased. Enalapril can effectively improve these changes. CONCLUSIONS: RHR microvasculature is abnormally responsive to systolic and diastolic stimuli. Enalapril has a good effect of improving microvascular reactivity, and its mechanism is related to the maintenance of the integrity of endothelial function.
