一九七三年我们进行了利用赤眼蜂防治玉米螟虫试验。收到了好于药剂防治的效果。在示范农场,利用赤眼蜂在30亩白鹤玉米地上防治第一代玉米螟。共放赤眼蜂三次,即6月22日、29日和7月3日,每次每亩放蜂两万头。对第一代玉米螟虫放赤眼蜂防治,放蜂区螟虫卵块被赤眼蜂寄生率为46.7%,对照区寄生率为2.4%;一代螟虫卵块孵化率,放蜂区为27.3%,对照区为86.6%。防治第一代玉米螟,对第二代玉米螟仍有后效,放蜂区第二代玉米螟卵块孵化率为17.3%,对照区为81.2%。放蜂区玉米被蛀茎株率为70%,茎折断株率为18%;颗粒剂防治区分别为90%和31%;对照区相应为96%和38%。可见,放蜂区明显地降
