生态资本主义并不是一种新事物。在德国,这种看法自20世纪80年代起就已存在,而在英语国家,赫尔曼·戴利1977就出版了名为《稳态经济学》的著作。后来,还有类似“自然资本主义”、“绿色资本主义”等术语被不断地使用。生态资本主义的政府要做到名副其实,其基本任务就是必须使经济能够可持续发展,而一种可持续的经济从逻辑上说至少应基本上建立在可再生资源基础之上,因为不可再生资源迟早会消耗殆尽,而且会造成生态环境破坏。然而,资本主义条件下的可持续发展是根本不可能的,同样,戴利的稳态的工业经济也是不可能的。真正面向未来的美好社会应是一种可持续经济基础上的社会主义社会,或者说是一种生态社会主义的社会。
Ecological capitalism is not a new thing. In Germany this view has existed since the 1980s, while in English-speaking countries Herman Daly published a book entitled Steady State Economics. Later, there are similar terms such as “natural capitalism” and “green capitalism” that are constantly being used. The government of ecocapitalism needs to be worthy of the name. Its basic task is to make the economy sustainable. A sustainable economy is logically at least basically based on renewable resources. Because non-renewable resources Sooner or later will be depleted, but also cause damage to the ecological environment. However, sustainable development under capitalism is simply impossible. Likewise, Dailly’s steady state industrial economy is also impossible. A truly beautiful society facing the future should be a socialist society on the basis of sustainable economy, or an ecologically-socialist society.
