烟台龙口丛林集团的万吨油压双动铝挤压机技术与装备研制项目,3月28日在2004年度国家科学技术奖励大会上荣获国家科技进步一等奖,令烟台人兴奋不已。有谁知道,在这大奖的背后还有着一段曲折的故事。为改变我国特大型铝型材全部依赖进口的局面,丛林集团计划引进特大型铝型材生产设备和技术。不料,垄断这一技术的德、日、法三国,均开出了极为苛刻的条件:生产设备以天价销售,而核心技术则完全保密!不掌握核心技术,必将长期受制于人,丛林集团决心自己研制。他们与国内大专院校、科研部门密切合作,经过艰苦努力,终于研制成功世界首台万吨挤压机,实现了特大型铝型材的国产化。目前,丛林集团生产的特大型铝型材,价格只是国外的1/3。
