[Japan’s “Atomic Energy Perspectives” reported in July 1998] The Mobility and Burning Corps confirmed that the glass solidified body of high-level radioactive waste can decompose fluorinated hydrocarbons. This decomposition is accomplished by gamma rays emitted from the glass cured body.
