前列腺素E_1在体外、体内都能明显抑制血小板聚集,静脉注射后前列腺素E_1在体内活性可维持5小时以上,说明其活性不像某些作者所认为的经一次肺循环即很快消失。并用放射薄层扫描法证明前列腺素E_1具有抑制血小板合成血栓素A_2的作用,这就从前列环素及血栓素平衡理论上支持前列腺素E_1可有效地用于临床防治血栓性心血管疾病。
Prostaglandin E1 inhibits platelet aggregation in vitro and in vivo. Intravenous injection of prostaglandin E1 can maintain its activity in vivo for more than 5 hours, indicating that its activity is not as quickly disappeared after a pulmonary circulation as some authors believe. The use of radionuclide scanning to prove that prostaglandin E_1 inhibit platelet synthesis of thromboxane A_2, which from the balance of prostacyclin and thromboxane theory support prostaglandin E_1 can be effectively used for clinical prevention of thrombotic cardiovascular disease.
