汽车工业是产业关联度高,规模效益明显,资金和技术密集、辐射面宽、带动性强的产业,随着全球经济的发展,汽车产业已成为世界上主要产业之一。我国加入世界贸易组织后,国内汽车产业的发展进入一个非常关键的时期,面临新的机遇和挑战,国家对汽车产业已开始新的一轮调整,大集团、国际化将是企业重组的重点。作为欠发达地区的广西,以其独特的发展模式,强有力地占据了中国汽车市场的一席之地。近年来,汽车工业一跃成为广西的支柱产业之一。目前,广西汽车产业整车已形成微型汽车、中重型载货车、客车及乘用车、农用运输车为主的产业布局;汽车零部件已形成以车用内燃机为主的产业布局。迅速崛起的广西汽车工业越来越备受行业瞩目。本刊记者专程采访了广西社科院经济研究所所长周毅先生,力求全面了解广西发展汽车产业的先进的经验和独特的运作模式,希望能对西部其他省区的汽车工业发展产生促进和借鉴作用。
