蛋蛋已经4岁了,长得壮壮实实,但就是不会说话。从3岁开始,家长就带他四处求医问药,最后来到北京求治。医院检查后发现,这个孩子不但哑,而且聋,完全听不到别人讲话。追问得知,孩子曾在乡村医生那里注射过庆大霉素。医生认为由于耳聋发生在学说话之前,致使这个孩子因为完全听不到别人说话的声音,无法模仿,也就造成了哑。中国残疾人抽样调查表明,类似蛋蛋这样的聋哑儿童,我国共有600多万,其中7岁以下约80万。而我国听力语言残疾的人数竟高达1770万之多,居各种残疾病案之首,其中有相当比例的听力残疾是由于儿童时期用药不当造成的。
