贾方舟:应天齐的艺术创作从不会满足于一种状态,他自觉地从西递村版画走出来,进入了一个新的历程。《砖问》是综合手段呈现的展览。整个展览就是一件作品,而个别作品就像是整体构思的部件,比如墙面上的画、装置、影像等等。各种手段一块儿使用,呈现出一种整体的气氛,这个气氛非常清晰。在我们的都市文化中,建筑是城市的一张脸,是一个城市的形象。无论是大城市、小城镇,还是乡村,建筑都是非常重要的标志性存在。在建筑不断遭到破坏的过程中,应天齐表现出怀旧、惋惜和痛苦,非常复杂的情感在他的作品中都有所体现。而作为普通人,也许只能到旧城废墟上去捡砖,把捡来的砖头放到箱子里作为展厅的展品,但这个想法却是很沉重的内心痛楚的表达。
Jia Fangzhou: YING Tianqi’s art creation will never be satisfied with a state.
