条山铁、铜多金属矿床位于华北板块与扬子板块的接合部位、秦岭多金属成矿带东段桐柏-大别山成矿亚带内,区内构造线呈NWW向展布,含矿地层为二郎坪群变细碧-角斑岩系,它经历了4个喷发旋回,形成了本区多金属成矿的4个含矿层位。第一旋回的顶部为一富铁矿层,为姑山式火山熔浆型含铜锌磁铁矿层;该层位自陕西三条岭,向东经汤河、太坪镇至桐柏毛集;条山铁、铜多金属矿床分布在二郎坪群变细碧-角斑岩系与燕山期花岗岩接触部位,硅化、绿泥石化、矽卡岩化明显,往往形成富磁铁矿体;矿体呈层状、似层状,透镜状;与围岩呈渐变过渡关系,成因为火山喷流沉积-热液叠加改造富集的块状磁铁矿矿床。区域上NWW-SEE向晚元古-早古生代形成的裂谷型二郎坪蛇绿岩套是本区找矿的最佳区段。二郎坪群含铁层位及夕卡岩化是寻找铁矿的重要找矿标志,二郎坪群蛇绿岩套横贯河南省西南部,连续延伸400余千米,在豫西南寻找该类铁矿前景广阔。

The layer is located at Sanjialing in Shaanxi Province, eastward through Tanghe, Taiping Town to Tongbai Maoji, The iron and copper polymetallic deposits are distributed in the contact parts of the Erlangpin-horn porphyry and Yanshanian granites in the Erlangping Group, with obvious silicification, chloritization and skarnization, and tend to form magnetite-rich ore bodies. The ore bodies are stratified , Like stratified, lenticular; and gradual transitional relationship with the surrounding rock, due to volcanic jet deposition - hydrothermal superposition enrichment of massive magnetite deposit. The NWW-SEE rift-type Erlangping ophiolite formation formed from Neoproterozoic to Early Paleozoic in the area is the best prospecting area in this area.
