谢苗诺夫教授()著的”世界中世纪史”()一书,本系苏联师范专科学校教本,以仅四百多页的篇幅,论述中世纪一千多年的历史,內容简单扼要,论断明确,不失为一本好的教科书。在我国高等学校的世界史参考书很缺乏的情况下,东北师大历史系世界史教研组同志们,把它译出,并由高教部教材处出版,两年多以来,对全国大中学教世界史的教师和历史系学生,在教与学方面,都起了很大作用。可惜原书在史实方面,有些小错误,而取材也还有可商榷之处,这些在翻译时,都没有加以校正和说明,致以讹传讹,把一些基本史实弄错了。因此,我觉得有必要提出原书错误和存疑之处,供读者参考,并请指正。

Unfortunately, the original book in the historical facts, some minor mistakes, but also the material is still open to questioning, these are not translated in the interpretation and description, resulting in the baseless assertion, some of the basic facts of history mistook. Therefore, I think it is necessary to put forward the original book errors and doubts, for readers reference, and please correct me.
