放射性废弃物的处理 随着核能发电技术的广泛应用,几十年来,已产生了过多的核燃料废弃物。在日本,对一部分核电厂废弃物予以埋藏,其余的处理方法还在原子能委员会研讨中。基本的想法是用某种方式封存后予以埋藏,但这样做问题不少,特别是高放射性废弃物含有高辐射能,有的还含有半衰期达1000乃至100万年的原子核素。需要寻求前所未有的能长期保证安全的处理方法。这是今后中长期利用核能时必须解决的课题。
Disposal of radioactive waste With the widespread use of nuclear power generation technologies, excess nuclear fuel wastes have been produced for decades. In Japan, a portion of nuclear power plant waste is buried, and the rest of the treatment is still under discussion by the Atomic Energy Commission. The basic idea is to be buried after some sort of sequestration, but doing so is problematic. In particular, high-level radioactive waste contains high levels of radiant energy and some also contain radionuclides with half-lives of 1,000 to 1,000,000. Need to seek an unprecedented long-term security approach. This is the issue that must be solved in the medium to long term use of nuclear energy.
