Objective: To investigate the effect of SHEL model in preventing adverse events of hematology care. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on the adverse nursing events occurred during the implementation of routine nursing mode in Hematology Department of Hepatobiliary Hospital, Hangzhou Normal University from May 2014 to April 2015. The SHEL model was used to analyze and analyze the nursing adverse events. At the same time, May-2016 April implementation of SHEL model guidance occurred after the occurrence of adverse events are also analyzed and processed further. Results: From May 2014 to April 2015, there were 72 cases of nursing adverse events in Department of Hematology, Affiliated Hospital of Hangzhou Normal University, the incidence rate was 5.05%. The rate of nursing adverse events after implementing SHEL model nursing management was 0.57% SHEL model before and after the incidence of adverse events was significantly different (P <0.01); SHEL model analysis showed that the quality of personnel and ability and clinical environment, is leading to adverse events in nursing major factors. Conclusion: SHEL model analysis guidance can prevent the occurrence of adverse events in nursing.
