The authors studied the color reaction of gold with thiomoketone in the presence of the cationic surfactant bromocetylpyridine (CPB). The best color rendering acidity is pH3.0-4.3. The apparent molar absorptivity is 1.32 × 10 ~ 5L · mol ~ (-1) · cm ~ (-1). Beer’s law is obeyed in the range of 0-17μg · (25ml) -1. The interference of foreign ions with activated carbon adsorption to eliminate. This method is used to determine the amount of gold in the ore to obtain satisfactory results.
