板齿鼠(Bandicotaindica Bechsteim)属啮齿目.鼠科,别名大猪鼠、大柜鼠.此鼠体形粗大,食量多,活动力强,对农作物危害严重,是农田主要害鼠之一.一、板齿鼠的分布及其在害鼠种群中的地位板齿鼠属野栖鼠,在近村边的住宅中也偶见.主要分布于我县东南部的平地水稻田、蔗地和其它作物地,而在西北部的山区农田和石灰岩山地则少见.两年来我们在本县的平地水稻田区、多种作物种植区和山区农田作定点调查,共捕获鼠1384只,其中板齿鼠有254只,占18.37%,仅次于黄毛鼠和野外鼷鼠,居第三位.其中在水稻田区板齿鼠占种群数量比例为31.07%,次于黄毛鼠,与野外鼷鼠并列第二(其中在新安点的比例为
