使用化学农药防治蔬菜病虫害,对夺取蔬菜丰收曾起到很大作用,但长期大量地不合理使用,对蔬菜的污染也日益严重。据省卫生防疫站1980年春节前夕在武汉市场上零星购得的小白菜样品53份进行检测的结果,有机氯的检出率为100%,有的样品六六六残留量高达2.11毫克/公斤。为此,1982年我们与武汉市蔬菜局、蔬菜研究所、洪山公社植保站组成协作组,在该公社北港、新路两大队试办千亩无公害蔬菜生产样板点。点上对蔬菜病虫害以农业防治为中心,开展综合防治,而减少化学农药,取得了良好的防治效果。点上全年上市200万斤蔬菜,有机磷残留量极低。据省农科院测试中心1982年10月19日对点上小白菜检测结果,有机氯农药滴滴涕残留量0.053毫克/公斤,比邻近队下降80%,远低于国家允许含量的标准。全样板所生产的蔬菜均已达到无公害蔬菜标准。其主要技术经验是:
