本文所研究的问题,在国内外尚未见有报道。该研究证明,在天然牛黄及胆汁中,均存在埃希氏大肠杆菌;在产牛黄的同一个胆囊里,可有数株埃希氏大肠杆菌同时存在,在正常牛活体胆汁中,埃希氏大肠杆菌的总检出率为45.9%,并发现在一个胆囊里,数株埃希氏大肠杆菌转化结合胆红素为非结合胆红素的能力差异很大。在产天然牛黄的胆囊里均存在转化率高的埃希氏大肠杆菌,但在正常牛胆囊里的埃希氏大肠杆菌的转化率则较低。因此,植黄用的菌种,应选用天然牛黄及其胆汁中分离的转化率高的埃希氏大肠杆菌。
