棉花是一种生育期较长的经济作物。当前大多与小麦、油菜等作物套种,一般习惯采用宽行稀植、早播,人工中耕除草,这样不仅花工多,而且由于套种不便耕翻土地,不利土壤改良。为了解决棉麦、棉油等作物套种不便翻地的弊病和早播低温多雨烂种缺苗以及与其他作物争劳力的矛盾,我们于一九七三年至一九七四年采用了密植化学除草不中耕与常规栽培人工中耕进行对比试验,现将试验结果初报如下:
