Hydralazine is used to control high blood pressure, and it has been shown that its vasodepressor activity is closely related to plasma levels. It is therefore important to find out what factors affect the plasma concentration of hydralazine after oral administration. One report noted that food increases the hydralazine concentration in the human body. However, the analytical methods used still have problems, so some people have re-tested the impact of food on the bioavailability of hydralazine.
