《人性的枷锁》是通过讲主人公菲利普怎样抛弃人生的种种枷锁,最终获得精神上的自由的故事。菲利普天生患有残疾,并且父母早亡,小小年纪的他被送到古板守旧的伯父家寄养。但是作为神父的伯父对小菲利普并没有浓浓的亲爱之情,因为他的为人自私冷漠,造成了这个早熟的孩子更加敏感害羞的个性。菲利普的人生道路上,荆棘丛生,他进行了许多尝试,经历了很多痛苦才逐渐解除了对于宗教、学历、爱情、友谊、个性、世俗期待等等在他身上所缠绕的种种枷锁。
The “shackles of humanity” are the stories of how to get spiritual freedom by saying how the protagonist Phillippe abandoned all kinds of shackles in his life. Philip was born with disabilities, and parents premature death, he was sent to the old-fashioned uncle’s foster home. However, as a priest, his uncle did not have a deep affection for Phillip Phillips because his personal indifference caused the more sensitive and shy personality of this precocious child.
