1983年9月,我们参加了中国农学会土壤肥料科学技术交流代表团访问了日本.现将了解到的有关土壤科学研究概况,简介如下,供考.日本土壤科学研究范围非常广泛、并取得了大量的成果,很多已应用于生产.1.制定了比较统一的土壤分类系统经过多年的调查研究,日本根据它自已的土壤特点,制定了一个为土壤科学界比较一致认可的土壤分类系统,这个土壤分类系统是以母质、地形与土壤属性相结合来进行分类的,分为土壤群,土壤统群,土壤统三级,土壤群分为以下十六个:(1)岩屑土(2)砂丘未熟土(3)黑火山灰土(4)多湿火山灰土(5)黑火山灰育土(6)褐色森林土(7)灰色台地土(8)育台地土(9)赤色土(10)黄色土(11)暗赤色土(12)褐色低地土(13)灰色低地土(14)育土(15)黑泥土(16)泥炭土
