This article begins with palestinedocs.net, a website created in response to Israel’s attacks in the Gaza Strip in July 2014 and mentioned many documentaries reflecting the plight of Palestine. This article traces the history of Palestine as early as 1896 and highlights the importance of making Palestinians vocal and appearing, especially given the fact that the Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir Declared in 1969 that “they do not exist.” The article proposes to classify these films in four categories (somewhat overlapping): International Films, Films Made by Palestinians, Exilic Films and Liberal Israeli Films ). If these international films were always able to show outsiders’ perspectives, these foreign filmmakers would be able to very strongly state their shock when they saw the absurd grotesque life of the occupied Palestine and give the audience an eye-opener. On the other hand, films by Palestinians provide an observation of the life under occupation, which often portrays this experience as a single compilation of time and space. However, based on the fact that the majority of Palestinians are in exile, the third group is made mainly of Palestinians living outside the Middle East, often centered on nostalgia, personal identity and sense of belonging. Finally, films produced by Israelis demonstrate Israel’s opposition to Palestinian authorities’ policies on the part of the authorities and some show that they are convinced that the continuation of the attack is not in the best interests of Israel.
