NASA’s Ames Research Center is studying the importance of gravity to life on earth and the possibility of sustaining the health of future space explorers intermittently under gravity. In a recently completed experiment, volunteers were placed in bed in a head-low position 24 hours a day, triggering possible physical changes in exposure to spatial microgravity. The results showed that the subjects only use the static 15 minutes per hour, 16 hours for a course of treatment can avoid the above body changes.
