选人用人工作,事关党的事业和执政地位。长期以来,党中央高度重视选人用人工作,十七届四中全会又强调“坚持民主、公开、竞争、择优,提高选人用人公信度,形成充满活力的选人用人机制,促进优秀人才脱颖而出”。省委书记刘奇葆指出:“要紧紧围绕提高选人用人公信度,全力整治用人上的不正之风,让党放心、让人民群众满意”。
Electing someone to work with someone is a matter of the party’s cause and ruling position. For a long time, the CPC Central Committee has attached great importance to the work of selecting and employing people. The Fourth Plenary Session of the 17th CPC Central Committee has also stressed: “Persevere in democracy, openness, competition and preference, and enhance the credibility of selecting and employing people, so as to form a vigorous mechanism of selecting and employing people and promote talents stand out”. Provincial Party Secretary Liu Qibao pointed out: “We must make every effort to improve the credibility of the candidates for employment, make every effort to rectify the unhealthy tendencies in employing people, reassure the Party and make the people satisfied”.
