近几年来,湖北荆州地区农业银行为了加强银行内部管理,调动全行职工的积极性,在银行内部实行了经济核算。他们抓了全区财务收支计划和五项经济指标的编报和考核,抓增收节支,组织财务收支计划的实现。1981年底全区五项经济指标全面完成,实现利润2,165万元,比上年增长24.8%。今年又组织了财务检查,全区组成17个共170人的清查小组,检查了3个县市支行和68个营业所,在检查中发现有的弄虚作假私设小家当,有的费用超指标,开支超标准,普遍存在的问题是管理不善。针对发现的问题,采取了相应的措施,重申了各项制度和财经纪律,制订了一些管理办法。财务管理工作中的混乱现象开始有所好转。
