在新疆北部地区,冬小麦在雪下度过漫长的冬季,时间长达数月之久。冬小麦的产量与积雪的关系极为密切。近年,我们研究了积雪对冬小麦越冬的影响,初步研究结果如下。一、积雪的保温效应积雪是通过保持分蘖节附近土温而起到保苗越冬效果的。为观测不同积雪厚度对冬小麦分蘖节附近土温的影响,试验设人工扫雪(无积雪)、5厘米积雪及自然积雪3个处理,以模拟无雪、薄雪及自然积雪3种雪层条件,冬季记载各处理分蘖节附近(3厘米及5厘米深处)最低土温,结果如表1。
