This product is the dried root of the Compositae plant wood fragrance (Saussureae Iappa Clarke). Muxiang is native to northern India (Kashmir, Chenab, Jhelum, etc.). It used to be imported from Guangzhou, hence the name “Guangmuxiang”. About 20 years ago, Zhang from Yunnan’s Heqing County went to India to do business and introduced the cultivation of his relatives at the Ludian Township of Lijiang County, where he succeeded. Later, the nearby farmers gradually planted. After the liberation, due to the support of the people’s government, a large number of production and development were developed. Therefore, the commodity is now known as “Cloudy Wood Fragrance”. Yunmuxiang is mainly produced in Lijiang County, Yunnan Province, and is cultivated in the mountainous area of 2,600-3,000 meters. After 2-3 years of growth, dig up the roots after the defrost and cut them to 6-12 cm long. For large and hollow ones, split them into 2-4 pieces for further drying or drying. The experimental materials in this paper are all Yunmuxiang.
