由荷兰农业生物研究中心(CABO)和国际水稻所(IRRI) 主办,印度中央水稻研究所(CRRI)主持的国际水稻病虫害计算机模拟研讨会(International Workshop on Simulation of Impact of Pests and Diseases on Rice)于1991年4月15—20日在印度奥里萨邦克塔克市召开。来自荷兰、印度、菲律宾、泰国、马来西亚、斯里兰卡、中国等7个国家的19名代表参加了会议。会议就有关水稻稻瘟病、纹枯病、白叶枯病和三化螟、二化螟、稻纵卷叶螟、马来亚稻黑蝽(Scotinophora coarctato)等病虫害对水稻产量影响的模拟进行了论文交流,并分病害和虫害模拟两个小组进行了讨论。会上,国际水稻所的M.J.Kropff博士(荷兰藉)和P.S.Teng博士(美藉华人)分别作了题为“杂草——作物相互关系的模拟”和“病虫害——作物模型在综合防治中的作用”两个专题报告。此次会议的主要内容还有:
The International Workshop on Simulation of Impact of Pests and Diseases on Rice, hosted by the Indian Agricultural Research Center (CABO) and the International Rice Institute (IRRI), hosted by the Indian Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI) April 15-20, 1991 in Kolkata, Orissa, India. Nineteen delegates from seven countries, including the Netherlands, India, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and China, attended the meeting. The meeting conducted a simulation on the effects of pests such as rice blast, sheath blight, bacterial leaf blight and rice stem borer, Chilo suppressalis, rice leaf roller, Scotinophora coarctato on rice yield Papers exchange, and points disease and pest simulation two groups were discussed.
