现存 15 0多部元杂剧中有 12部以有夫之妇贪淫破家的故事为表现对象 ,其中有 4部具有较强的悲剧性。这些剧作以男性中心主义的伦理视角去观察家庭中的移情别恋现象 ,揭示它的巨大危害 ,对贪淫者进行严厉的道德审判 ,触及到人性中喜新厌旧的劣根性 ,流露出浓重的家庭依恋情绪和婚姻神圣观念 ;对允许纳妾的婚姻制度作了反思 ,认为“一碗饭二匙难并” ,表现出对一夫一妻制的向往 ,具有鲜明的东方品格。但男性中心主义的伦理视角也决定了这些剧作的局限性和缺失 ,其成就与缺失均对后世描写奸情的创作产生了影响
