Objective To understand the status of Enterobacter sakazakii contamination in commercial infant formulas and provide a scientific basis for early warning of consumption. Methods National foodborne disease surveillance network monitoring program and the “Enterobacter sakazakii test standard operating procedures” (2007 workbook). Results Seven strains of Enterobacter sakazakii were detected in 30 samples, the detection rate was 23.33%. Among them, 20 infant cereal foods were detected, 6 were detected, the detection rate was 30.00%; infant formula powder 10, 1 strain was detected, the detection rate was 10.00%. Conclusion Enterobacter sakazakii contamination is present in some infant formula foods, and monitoring efforts and early warning of consumption should be strengthened to prevent and control E. sakazakii food poisoning.
