对于刚上初中的同学来说,英语是一门新奇的、极富吸引力的学科。那么究竟该怎样学好这门语言呢?大家知道,一个学习者只有具有强烈的学习动机,他的学习才是最有效的。因此,英语初学者要积极培养自己对英语这门课程的兴趣。以此增强学好英语的动机和信心。这是学好英语的大前提。同学们要从模仿发音着手,千万不可粗枝大叶。上课时,注意力要高度集中,耳听老师的发音,眼看老师的口形,嘴仿老师的口音,课后再去反复听录音。这是语音入门的关键。但要注意的是:我们初学英语,千万不要贪图省力而用谐音汉宇来给难读的单词注音。如果用汉字注音,其发音肯定不准确,时间长了,就成了拗口的、别人难以听懂的英语。试想,说一口流利的标准英语那该让人多么羡慕呀!
