《淮南子》与先唐志怪小说的发展有着一定关系。首先,《淮南子》在西汉初年最早引用《山海经》作为思想资料,扩大了《山海经》的影响,促进了其在汉代的传播。其次,《淮南子》中的神话传说不但在两汉志怪研究中值得注意,而且对汉魏六朝志怪小说也产生了一定影响。第三,《淮南子》博大瑰奇的审美倾向,在先秦《山海经》和汉魏六朝地理博物题材志怪小说之间的美学传承上起了过渡作用。《淮南子》在先唐志怪小说发展中的历史作用是不可忽视的。
There is a certain relationship between “Huainan Nanzi” and the development of the strange novels of Tang Dynasty. First of all, in the early years of Western Han Dynasty, Huainanzi first quoted “Shan Hai Jing” as its ideological material, expanding the influence of “Shan Hai Jing” and promoting its spread in the Han Dynasty. Secondly, the myths and legends in Huainanzi not only deserved our attention in the research on the biographies of the Han dynasty, but also exerted a certain influence on the monster novels in the Han and Wei Dynasties and the Six Dynasties. Third, the aesthetic tendency of “Huainanzi” magnificent maelstrom played a transitional role in the aesthetic inheritance between the “Shan Hai Jing” in the pre-Qin period and the geek-type novels in the Han and Wei and the Six Dynasties. The historical role of “Huainanzi” in the development of the earlier ghost stories can not be ignored.
