A clan system is the basic content of the primitive social history. Inquiring into the historical process of its origin, development and demise, it is the key to understand such important issues as the division of time in the primitive social history, the change of the production form and the evolution of public ownership. . However, the living primitive clan organization, even among the slowest nations in the world, has already disappeared into the torrent of history. Today, among the primitive peoples on all continents in Asia, Europe, Africa, the United States, and Australia What you see is nothing more than its remnants. As the clan organization has been far away from us and the materials available for argumentation are still scarce, it is very difficult for both Chinese and foreign scholars to discuss its origin. Some scholars even consider it an impossible problem to be solved.
