随着車辆的增大和列車的加长,对三通閥的机能,以及相应的試驗标准,提出了更高的要求。如制动和緩解試驗等項目,应作适当的补充。为此,1962年《車辆制动装置检修細則》中,具体規定了3—T試驗台試驗合格的三通閥,仍須用单車試驗器进行制动、緩解感度和制动安定試驗及紧急制动作用試驗。根据这一要求,各車辆段先后在3—T試驗台上加装了单車(貨客)試驗器及其附加风缸等装置。
