在信函分类、理信、分拣等自动处理设备中,函件的输入、输出、各工序的处理,以及各工序间的输送都是借助于双传送带的夹持(图1—1),或者借助于传送带和输信从动滚子之间的夹持来实现的(图1—2)。由夹信带、滚子、及其动力装置组成的夹信系统在整个信函处理设备中占有极为重要的地位。和一般的运输传送带相比,输送函件的夹信系统具有如下特点: 1) 因信函产生的信负载,以及因速度产生的风负载轻微不计,整个系统的负载几乎全部由从动滚的摩擦力矩产生。
