中国古代的经济重心在北方 (较偏于西 ) ,而不在南方。东晋南朝时期 ,江南的经济在南迁的北方人民和南方各族人民的共同努力下 ,有了非常显著的发展。从此以后 ,江南 (较偏于东 )的经济就逐步赶上并超过北方 ,中国的经济重心 ,也便由北方移到南方。以东晋南朝时期江南的开发来对照今日的西部大开发 ,可以得到具有重要意义的借鉴和启示。
In ancient China, its economic center of gravity was in the north (rather than in the west), not in the south. During the Eastern Jin and Southern Dynasties, the economy of Jiangnan had a very significant development with the joint efforts of the people in the south and people of all ethnic groups in the south. Since then, the economy of Jiangnan (more northerly) has gradually caught up and surpassed the north and China’s economic center of gravity has also been moved from the north to the south. Taking the development of Jiangnan in the Eastern Jin and Southern Dynasties as a reference to today’s western development, we can get a reference and inspiration of great significance.
