基于LDPC码的TRPC-UWB通信系统

传输参考脉冲簇(transmitted reference pulse cluster,TRPC)系统作为传输参考(transmitted reference,TR)系统的一种改进方案,克服了传统TR系统延迟线过长难以实现的问题,因而成为一种颇具潜力的低码率超宽带(ultra-wideband,UWB)通信系统。在未加信道编码的情况下,TRPC系统的误码性能明显优于传统TR系统。因此,进一步研究适用于TRPC系统的信道编码技术具有重要的实际意义。本文将低密度奇偶校验码(low-density parity-check,LDPC)引入TRPC系统,应用两种奇偶校验矩阵构造方法进行LDPC编码,并在不同信道环境下对这两种LDPC码进行了性能评估。计算机仿真结果表明,与现有的两种信道编码技术RS(Reed-Solomon)码和卷积码相比,LDPC码以编解码复杂度的有限增加为代价,明显改善了系统误码性能,因而适用于低成本、低功耗、低复杂度的超宽带通信系统。 As an improved scheme of the transmitted reference (TR) system, the transmission of the reference pulse cluster (TRPC) system overcomes the problem that the delay line of the conventional TR system is too long to be realized and thus becomes a promising Low bit rate ultra-wideband (UWB) communication system. In the absence of channel coding, the error performance of the TRPC system is significantly better than the traditional TR system. Therefore, it is of great practical significance to further study the channel coding technique suitable for TRPC system. In this paper, low-density parity-check-code (LDPC) is introduced into the TRPC system. Two kinds of parity-check matrix construction methods are used to carry out LDPC coding, and these two kinds of LDPC codes are performed under different channel environments Evaluation. Computer simulation results show that, compared with the existing Reed-Solomon (RS) codes and convolutional codes, the LDPC codes significantly improve the systematic error performance at the cost of limited increase of codec complexity Suitable for low cost, low power consumption, low complexity ultra-wideband communication system.
