在专业会议或其他场合,图书馆员和情报管理人员共同讨论的问题中,大多数有关毕业生职业教育的意见都可概括为:“大学教育由于脱离实际,己恶化到不可救药的地步了。”教育成功与否,是和职业教育为职业服务的好坏有着密切关系的,这一点在刚参加图书馆和情报工作的人身上表现得尤为突出。近几年,图书馆和情报科学教育的内容和方法有了很大的变化,但其目的基本上没有多大改变。可是这个目的却常常被误解。今天大多数图书馆和情报科学课程都试图抓住本质:试图使图书馆员和情报管理人员能在未来的社会中发挥领导作用;试图达到“理论”和“实践”的统一;还试图顺应职业变化
Most of the questions on professional education for graduates at professional conferences or elsewhere, librarians and intelligence managers can be summed up as follows: “University education has deteriorated to the point where it is beyond redemption The success of education is closely related to whether vocational education is good or bad for professional services, especially for those who have just joined library and intelligence work.
