众所周知,目前农业生产的发展,依靠选用优种, 改进栽培技术,实现机械化以及土地基本建设等。其中优种所起的作用很大。推广优种的重要性,今后也不会减弱。过去,作物育种采用杂交选育和人工诱变技术,以后,还将进而采用基因更换和细胞融合等遗传基因的操作技术。有关细胞融合的内容,本期发表的《原生质体和细胞融合新技术在作物育种中的应用》一文已作了介绍,故不赘述。在此,我想谈谈关于基因更换技术的问题。
