在梳理20世纪80年代至今作为文学体裁的疾病叙事学术史及最新动态的基础上,试图发起国内在叙事学与宗教人文主义和生命政治学界面上的疾病叙事国际前沿研究。引入沃格林的灵性病理学理念和诺斯替主义的治疗学,将疾病叙事置于叙事学与身心哲学、社会学、宗教学融汇界面上建构灵韵病体叙事的疾病叙事理论,为跨学科的叙事学研究提供范例,为后经典叙事学出现的疾病叙事学转向进行叙事观念的变革和创新提供方法论。以苏珊·桑塔格疾病叙事为例的疾病叙事研究有利于统合生态社会学、生命政治学、宗教精神修炼等诸多新兴学科的学理脉络,为大生命视域文化及文学的研究范式创新提供哲学基础和理论依据,激活叙事界面上潜在的后现代生命意识,开拓大生命视域的外国文学研究方向。
