改革开放以来,技工教育的改革和发展取得了很大成就。但是随着市场经济体制的建立、科技进步和产业结构的调整以及劳动力市场的变化,技工教育的现状不能适应培养高素质的劳动者的需要,也满足不了人民群众日益增长的多样化职业需求。在教育教学领域,技工教育观念和培养模式相对滞后,教学工作存在着片面强调学科体系和知识灌输,与生产和生活实际联系不紧密, 对知识应用、创新精神和实践能力培养重视不够,实践和专业技能训练比较薄弱,难以使学生形成熟练的职业技能和适应职业变化的能力。因此,技工教育必须从教育理念上、教育教学实践上予以变革,以适应变化了的社会。

In the field of education and teaching, the concept of technical education and the mode of training are relatively lagging. There is one-sided emphasis on disciplinary system and knowledge in teaching, which is not closely related to production and life, lack of attention to the application of knowledge, creativity and practical ability, Professional skills training is weak, it is difficult to enable students to develop proficiency in professional skills and ability to adapt to job changes. Therefore, the mechanic education must be changed from the educational conception, education and teaching practice to adapt to the changing society.
