白细胞介素24(IL-24),又名黑色素瘤分化相关抗原7(m elanom a d ifferentiation assoc iated antigen 7,MDA-7),目前研究显示IL-24是唯一既抑制肿瘤细胞生长和血管形成并诱导肿瘤细胞凋亡,同时又可刺激表达细胞因子的基因。体外研究显示,人IL-24具有广谱抗肿瘤作用,对多种组织来源的肿瘤均具有显著生长抑制和诱导凋亡的作用,而对正常细胞没有影响,被认为是肿瘤免疫基因治疗的候选基因。胶质瘤是颅内最常见的原发性、中枢神经系统恶性肿瘤,三大常规疗法效果差且易复发,IL-24有希望成为一种治疗胶质瘤的理想功能基因。

Glioma is the most common intracranial primary, central nervous system malignant tumor. The three common therapies are ineffective and relapse. IL-24 is hopeful to become an ideal functional gene for the treatment of glioma.
