多传感器信息融合(Multi Sensor Information Fusion)或称多源信息融合(Multi Source Information Fusion)。由于早期的融合方法研究是针对数据处理的,所以有时也把信息融合称为数据融合(Data Fusion)。随着系统论、控制论、信息论、Dempster-Shafer证据理论、Zadeh的模糊逻辑理论等基础理论,以及计算机技术、网络技术、通信技术和高效传感器技术等实用技术的快速发展,使信息融合技术得到前所未有的发展。
